Special Educational Needs
The support and care of our students provides a holistic and inclusive approach to the provision of special education in our school. Our qualified and dedicated Special Educational Needs team of teachers and teaching assistants offer a wide range of teaching supports for students with special education needs.
We provide support for all students with models of co-teaching practice in subject areas. We provide learning support for those students with learning difficulties and learning disabilities to address their literacy, numeracy and accessing the curriculum needs. We provide resource teaching for those with more specialised educational needs, to address their social, emotional, behavioural, and or physical and sensory needs.
Our aim is to assist students with special education needs so that they can go into life with the skills necessary to participate to the level of their capacity in an inclusive way, in the social and economic activities of society and more importantly, to live independent, happy and fulfilled lives.
